Educational Partner

The CGBP Student Pathway Program is an independent study program for college and university students, designed to be undertaken in parallel with existing studies. The program can be started at any time, but it is recommended that students begin the program at least 12-18 months prior to graduation. The program is not intended to be intensive. Rather, it is intended as an ongoing/distributed effort that should sit easily alongside existing studies for most students.

Educational Partner Membership Information

For collaborating “Educational Partner” schools, NASBITE International will provide the following benefits for no fee:

  • A complimentary Institutional Membership in NASBITE under which you may enroll an unlimited number of persons employed by your institution (normally $125 or $135 per person). Length of Membership will vary based on enrollment timing, but trial period will include the Annual Conference, where Member discounts will be available). Note that Institutional Membership renewal is not required to retain status as an Educational Partner
  • Access to existing curriculum models and processes from other schools that illustrate how the CGBP can be successfully supported and/or integrated into an existing IB program
  • Shared resource hub for international business course-related materials and resources (e.g. PPT, case studies, etc.) with resources, aligned to the CGBP domain areas of global management, global marketing, supply chain/logistics, and trade finance

  • An invitation for faculty to attend and/or present at NASBITE’s Annual Conference – a premiere networking and best-practice sharing venue for trade educators, practitioners, and assistance providers

CGBP Student Ambassador Program

NASBITE also offers a Student Ambassador program, designed to help faculty and staff at Educational Partner schools generate awareness for the CGBP Student Pathway Program. Educational Partner faculty may nominate one NASBITE Student Ambassador per 12-month period, beginning July 1 and ending June 30 of the following year. The nominated student may be a currently-enrolled Student Pathway program participant or can be a new enrollee to the Student Pathway program.

The nominated student:

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the Educational Partner School
  • Must register with NASBITE for the Student Pathway Program (if the student is not already enrolled), or be in good standing (if already enrolled)
  • Must agree to help create awareness on campus for the CGBP Student Pathway Program, using tools and resources provided by NASBITE International
  • Shall commit to host at least one face-to-face information session on campus to introduce fellow students to the Student Pathway program, answer questions, and circulate a Student Pathway signup sheet to enroll new Student Pathway program participants

For Student Ambassadors, NASBITE will waive the $75 CGBP Student Pathway program registration fee if the student is not already enrolled; for students already enrolled in the Student Pathway program, NASBITE will offer a $75 credit towards NASBITE Membership if application for membership is received within six months following the students’ graduation. In addition, if at least five additional new students from the Educational Partner school enroll in the CGBP Student Pathway Program (and pay their membership fee) before June 30, NASBITE will waive the Student Ambassador’s $195 CGBP Certification exam fee.

Universities/colleges interested in the Ambassador program should contact info@nasbite.org for more information.
