William Louden

Austin Community College

Bill Louden is one of the early pioneers in the New Media/Internet Industry with over 30 years at the forefront of on-line media and Internet services development. Bill was on the founding team at CompuServe in 1979 and was Founder and President of the GEnie Online Service at the General Electric Company from 1985 through 1993. At GE, he led global operations expanding the business to #2 in the USA and #1 in Europe/Japan, serving customers on three continents.

Lorraine McCord

International Trade Center SBDC, Dallas

Lorraine is the Director of the International Trade Center SBDC. She has more than 10 years’ experience working for Fortune 500 companies in strategy and planning, international finance and adult education. Lorraine has worked and traveled extensively in the Asia Pacific region. She holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird.

Alberto Rodriguez-Baez

UTSA International Trade Center

Alberto Rodriguez-Baez has spent his entire professional and academic careers in the field of international marketing and business development. His work experience spans from large global corporations to small businesses; private and public organizations; as well as non-profit and for-profit companies. He is passionate about helping American companies become globally competitive.

Alberto attended the University of Nebraska, where he earned his MBA. Before graduating, he attended the prestigious Focus Leadership Institute.

Alberto is a CGBP (Certified Global Business Professional) and CBC (Certified Business Consultant), and currently works at UTSA’s International Trade Center as a Sr. International Business Consultant.

Dr. Ruth Taylor

Texas State University at San Marcos

Dr. Ruth Lesher Taylor, Ph.D., in Marketing (University of North Texas) is currently a Professor of Marketing and Honorary Professor of International Studies at Texas State University - San Marcos. She has served as a Fulbright Senior Specialist at the University of Lima (2006) and at Universidad Nacional Major de San Marcos (2008), both in Lima, Peru. While in Peru, she also served as the international member of the dissertation defense academic panel for first candidate to receive a Ph.D. in Business from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, the oldest university in the Americas. Dr. Taylor has extensive experience working in collaboration with the the U.S. Department of Commerce cooperatively working to develop teaching innovations to acquaint students with the value and use of federally-collected and disseminated international data published on U.S. federal government entity websites. Dr. Taylor’s biographical sketch has been published in Marquis’ Who’s Who of American Education, Who’s Who of American Women and other Marquis publications; as well as in Academic Key’s Who’s Who in Business Higher Education. Her teaching and research interest emphasizes international business education and collaborative projects that serve to bring together diverse people to accomplish common goals. She has published in Journal of Marketing Education, Marketing Education Review, Journal for Advancement of Marketing, Competitiveness Review, Journal of Contemporary Business Issues, Journal of Global Competitiveness, Journal of Professional Services Marketing, Journal of Teaching International Business, and others.
