NASBITE CGBP Exam Windows and Registration Deadlines

December 1 - 23, 2014

Registration Deadline: October 19, 2014

Candidates in this exam window will be able sit for the exam between Monday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 23, 2014.

March 2 – 21, 2015

Registration Deadline: January 18, 2015

Candidates in this exam window will be able sit for the exam between Monday, March 2 and Saturday, March 21, 2015.

June 8 – 27, 2015

Registration Deadline: April 26, 2015

Candidates in this exam window will be able sit for the exam between Monday, June 8 and Saturday, June 27, 2015.

September 7-26, 2015

Registration Deadline: July 26, 2015

Candidates in this exam window will be able sit for the exam between Monday, September 7 and Saturday, September 26, 2015.

November 30-December 19, 2015

Registration Deadline: October 18, 2015

Candidates in this exam window will be able sit for the exam between Monday, November 30 and Saturday, December 19, 2015.


To reserve the location, date, and time most convenient for a candidate, you are encouraged to reserve your exam soon after receiving your Prometric login and password. Your login and password will arrive via email in your Authorization to Test (ATT) letter approximately two weeks after the close of the registration window.

What is the cost of the exam?

The exam fee is $395 and is non-refundable.

Can I transfer my exam registration to another testing window?

No. It is not possible to transfer your registration from one test window to another. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this policy.

Can I reschedule my appointment to another day in the same test window?

If you choose to reschedule your appointment within 3-30 days of your original appointment within the same test window, you will incur a $50 change fee paid directly to Prometric and make any schedule changes directly through Prometric.

You may reschedule exam appointment only once within the same testing window. Please note it may not be possible to reschedule your appointment with Prometric if the request is made too late in the testing window because the test centers' schedules may be full.

What is the cost if I do not cancel my exam in time, or do not make it to my scheduled exam?

Candidates that either do not cancel their confirmed test appointment at least three business days prior to a confirmed exam appointment, or miss their exam appointment will lose their registration fee. However, you may register again for a future test window by paying the applicable registration fee. (Typically $150). Your exam fee of $295 will be credited against your future exam. Please note that you must reschedule your exam within one year of your original exam date.

What is the cost to retake the exam if I do not pass?

Candidates that either fail the exam, or would like to improve their scores may register again for a future test window by paying the applicable registration fee. (Typically $100). Please note that you must reschedule your exam within one year of your original exam date.

NASBITE International Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are possible only during the open registration period for each test window. Cancellations processed before the open registration period closes are subject to a $50 administrative fee. The $50 administrative fee will be deducted from the the original exam registration fee. Your refund in this case the $50 fee is deducted from the fee paid upon registration.

When can I cancel my exam registration with NASBITE International?

If you are unable to take the exam, or decide you do not want to take the exam, you must submit your request before the open registration period for your chosen exam window has closed. Submit your cancellation request in writing and e-mail it to info@nasbite.org before the application period for the test window for which you are registered closes. Cancellations will be assessed a $50 administrative fee as noted above.

What happens after the exam?

Score reports are mailed to exam candidates within two weeks of the close of each test window. Please note that in some cases this means you will not receive your score report for as many as six weeks after taking the exam if you tested at the beginning of a window.

Once scores are certified, an email is sent to all passing candidates providing information on how to use the CGBP credential and logo use guidelines.

Certificates will be sent to each passing candidate within eight weeks of the close of each test window.
